Zenonas Mačernius
Zenonas Mačernius (born May 1, 1947 in Kadaičiai , Plungė district , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from secondary school Šateikiai in 1962 , he studied agronomy at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in 1967 and from 1982 to 1986 at the CPSU party college in Leningrad (Russia).
From 1974 to 1978 he was director of the Kolainiai sovkhoz , from 1994 to 1995 and 2000 mayor of the Kelmė district , from 2000 to 2004 a member of the Seimas , from 2007 to 2011 deputy mayor of Kelmė .
