Zenonia 2: The Lost Memories is the sequel to Zenonia , an action role-playing game developed, created and published by Gamevil for iOS and Android . It was released on March 29, 2010 in the App Store , on December 24, 2010 in the Google Play Store and in the first quarter of 2011 in the Amazon Appstore .

action

The game's prologue states that four heroes were tasked with guarding the seal of the evil dragon Ladon after the events of the first game, as Regret is nowhere to be found. But slowly the people are corrupted, so that the gods of Zenonia have no choice but to erase the memories of everyone in the country in order to restore peace with the "tree of life". Now the residents of Deva Castle are looking for a way to restore their lost memories and keep Ladon prisoner by finding the four gems. Each of the four selectable characters has a specific prologue that determines the events of the game, in which the four characters are inevitably locked in the dungeon of Deva Castle. After the escape, the characters receive an ultimatum: They have to make sure that Zavkiel retrieves the four gems and thereby their wishes are granted or they are incarcerated again. After choosing the former, the adventure begins.

Each of the characters has their own backstory and motivations. Daza, the warrior, is the last remaining member of the Minotaur tribe; Ecne, the gunslinger, is on a mission to find her older brother; Morpice, the magician, was taken in by the magician Zealous and then trained after he was orphaned; and Lu, the paladin, wants to save his grandfather.

Gameplay

Similar to its predecessor, Zenonia 2 still offers real-time combat and exploration. The player has four characters to choose from: Daza, Ecne, Morpice and Lu. Daza is a melee class warrior with high strength and speed but low defense. Ecne is a distance class shooter with high evasion and attack power, but low defense. Morpice is a distance class mage who relies on his supply of SP (skill points) for his magical attacks. Lu is a melee class paladin with high defense and healing spells, but low attack power. All characters are controlled via the virtual D-pad located in the lower left corner of the screen. It can be set along with the action button at the bottom right of the screen. Zenonia 2 is a typical action role-playing game , with quests, skill trees , leveling up and fighting. It also has a PvP (player versus player) system where users can test their characters against the characters of other players.
