Central plateau

The central plateau is a flat, undulating plateau in the West African state of Burkina Faso . It is part of a Precambrian base made of granite and gneiss and is about 250-350 meters above sea level. Since it is traditionally inhabited by Mossi , it is also called "Mossiplateau". The capital Ouagadougou is located on the central plateau . In addition, Plateau Central , one of the 13 administrative regions, is named after the plateau.
