The Center for operational training and exercises of the medical service of the armed forces since the end of 2013 teaching / training applications (teaching / AusbZEins) is the central institution of the Medical Services of the Armed Forces in preparation, implementation and evaluation of medical services handy use - training .

history

The unit was set up on October 12, 2006 in the Gäuboden barracks in Feldkirchen - Mitterharthausen in order to be able to cope with the increasing use of soldiers in the Bundeswehr abroad . The center was initially subordinate to the medical academy. On November 1, 2013, it was subordinated to the medical training regiment as a teaching / training center for use (teaching / training).

task

The center is responsible for all of the additional training in conflict prevention and crisis management for the Bundeswehr. Every medical soldier currently deployed in Afghanistan , Bosnia or Kosovo , for example , must attend this training facility. The course participants are prepared for their deployment in a one-week training course by a permanent staff of around 50 soldiers and around 100 subordinate role players. In addition, the course also includes training on modular medical facilities, their assembly, dismantling and conversion, and making them ready for use.
