Zhang Zhongqi
Zhang Zhongqi ( Chinese 张忠奇 , Pinyin Zháng Zhōngqí ; born November 2, 1982 ) is a Chinese speed skater .
Zhongqi Zhang made his debut at his home World Cup in Harbin in December 2002 and immediately won the 500-meter race in Group B. In January 2004, with a tenth place - again in Harbin - he was among the best of the A group for the first time. Two weeks earlier he won silver over 500 meters behind Yuya Oikawa at the Asian Championships in Chuncheon . Over 1000 meters he reached seventh place. At the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin he competed over 1000 meters, but was only 35. In the World Cup, he achieved his best placement in the World Cup in December 2006 with a fifth place over 500 meters in Harbin. His best place in the overall World Cup was a tenth place on the 100-meter course in the 2003/04 season .
