Zhiti temple
The Zhiti temple is a temple in the district Jiaocheng the Chinese prefecture-level city Ningde (Fujian Province). It is located on Zhiti Mountain , about 40 kilometers northwest of Ningde city center. The Buddhist Zhiti Temple was built in 971 and houses 1,000 iron Buddha images once donated by the Ming Emperor Yongle and a sutra donated by Emperor Wanli .
The neighboring Huotong Mountain is a well-known Daoist mountain and its cave is considered to be one of the most important caves of Daoism.
