Zhongguancun

Zhongguancun ( Chinese 中关村街道 , Pinyin Zhongguancun Jiedao ) is a road area of the municipality Haidian the Chinese capital Beijing . As a science and technology center and so-called high-tech park, it is also often referred to as the “Silicon Valley of China”.

Zhongguancun is located in the northwest of Beijing. The center was founded in 1988 , but its roots go back to 1980 .

The Christian Church, designed by Gerkan, Marg and Partner , is a special feature .

The road district Zhongguancun is composed of 33 residential communities together. These are:
