Zhouzhuang (Jiangyin)

Zhouzhuang ( Chinese 周庄镇 , Pinyin Zhōuzhuāng Zhèn ) is a large community in the independent city of Jiangyin in the Chinese province of Jiangsu . Zhouzhuang has an area of 77.5 km² and approx. 101,300 inhabitants (2011). It reached its present size in 2001, when the former large municipality Changshou (32.7 km² and 34,000 inhabitants) was dissolved and Zhouzhuang was incorporated.

Administrative structure

Zhouzhuang is made up of three communities and 15 villages. These are:

Residential community Nanxin (南新社区), seat of government of the large community;

Community of Beixin (北新社区);

Resident Community Changshou (长寿社区);

Changle Village (长乐村);

Village Changnan (长南村);

Changshou Village (长寿村);

Donglin village (东林村);

Huahong Village (华宏村);

Village Jilongshan (鸡笼山村);

Village Jinwan (金湾村);

Jishan Village (稷山村);

Village Nijiaxiang (倪家巷村);

Village Sanfangxiang (三房巷村);

Shanquan Village (山泉村);

Taocheng Village (陶城村);

Village Zhouxi (周西村);

Zhouzhuang Village (周庄村);

Village Zongyan (宗言村).
