Zhu Jianhua

Zhu Jianhua ( Chinese  朱建华 , Pinyin Zhū ​​Jiànhuá ; * July 1956 in Shanghai ) is a Chinese German studies specialist .

Life

Zhu Jianhua completed a four-year university course in 1978 at the Shanghai University of Foreign Languages, in 1981 his master's degree at Tongji University , and received his doctorate in 1987 from Ruhr University Bochum. Since 1993 he has been a full professor for German studies and dean of the German faculty at Tongji University. He was a Humboldt Fellow (1994–1995) and in 2001 and 2003 he was visiting professor at the University of Duisburg and the TU Berlin.

II. Theory and practice in the field of didactics and methodology of German as a foreign language

This involves the introduction of theoretical approaches such as functional-communicative language description, research into multilingualism, pragmatics and intercultural language didactics , as well as research into promoting the complex language skills of Chinese learners of German. Since the 1990s he has been responsible for numerous projects in curricula , textbooks and exams for university German (German as an application subject) in China. The textbook "Click on German" (main author), which z. Z. (2010), which is most widely used in Chinese universities and colleges, was rated “Textbook in the 10th and 11th Five-Year Plan of the Country” in 2001 and 2006, and in 2007 was awarded the 1st Prize of Shanghai City Textbooks. The teaching subject “University German” at Tongji University, headed by Zhu Jianhua, was rated as a teaching subject of excellence in the city of Shanghai in 2004 and in 2007 by the Ministry of Education as a teaching subject of excellence at the state level (Chinese “国家 精品 课程”). The subject of German studies at Tongji University was approved in 2007 by the Ministry of Education as a “special state funding subject” (Chinese “国家 特色 专业 建设 点”). In 2008, Zhu Jianhua was awarded the title of Renowned Professor of the City of Shanghai (Chinese "上海市 教学 名师").

III. Intercultural communication German-Chinese

Since the 1990s, Zhu Jianhua has been increasingly concerned with studies on interculturality in German studies in China, especially in technical language linguistics and in the didactics and methodology of German as a foreign language .
