Ziakpark

The Ziakpark located on the Aspang street in the city development area Aspanggründe the third Viennese municipality district highway . It is a park in Vienna named on December 2, 2008 by the City of Vienna in honor of Karl Ziak . The opening took place in 2013.

history

From 1990 to 2008 Ziakplatz was the name of a small square between Aspangstraße and Rennweg, which was then incorporated into the newly created Fred-Zinnemann-Platz . In return, today's park was named after Karl Ziak in the municipal council committee for culture and science on December 2, 2008.

layout

The place has a size of 4000 m². In addition to the Leon-Zelman-Park , it is one of the two central parks in the new Aspanggrund district .
