Papenhagen brickworks

Papenhagen brickworks was a residential area in the Prussian province of Pomerania .

The living space consisted of a brick factory , which was about 1 kilometer southwest of the Papenhagen estate . The brick factory was established in the 2nd half of the 19th century and specialized in the manufacture of highly porous drainage pipes. As a place to live in the Papenhagen manor district, the Papenhagen brickworks had six inhabitants in 1905. The Papenhagen manor with its residential areas was incorporated into the neighboring rural community of Naugard in 1929 .

Until 1945, the Papenhagen brickworks was run as the residential area of ​​the Naugard community and belonged to the Kolberg-Körlin district in the Prussian province of Pomerania .

In 1945 the place of residence came to Poland , like all of Western Pomerania . Today the place lies desolate in the area of ​​the Polish Gmina Kołobrzeg (rural municipality Kolberg) .
