Brickworks of the Roman Empire (Tödtenried)
The finds of a brick factory from the Roman Empire in Tödtenried , a district of the municipality of Sielenbach in the Swabian district of Aichach-Friedberg in Bavaria , were discovered in a field about 800 meters southeast of the Catholic parish church of St. Katharina . The scattering of finds from the Roman Empire is protected as a ground monument with the number D-7-7533-0002.
Numerous fragments of red and gray tones of utility ceramics were found , as well as Rhaetian goods, terra sigillata , glass and metal in individual pieces . Countless fragments of tegulae and imbrices , brick slabs and fragments of a furnace wall were also found.
