Zilog ZNEO
The Zilog ZNEO-Z16F series is a further developed Z8 Encore! Series . The controllers execute most of the commands in one clock cycle, making them around 15 MIPS at 20 MHz clock frequency. A maximum of 128 KByte flash program and 4 KByte data memory are integrated. A maximum of 16 Mbytes of external memory can be connected via a 24-bit address bus and an optionally 8 or 16-bit data bus. The instruction set offers arithmetic and logical 8, 16 and 32-bit operations, plus multiplication with 32-bit factors each and 64-bit division with a maximum of 32-bit divisors.
Other essential components are:
- Twelve 10-bit analog-digital converters ( successively approximating ) with sample & hold
- An analog comparator
- An operational amplifier
- Three 16-bit timers
- A 12-bit pulse width modulator with six outputs
- Watchdog timer with its own oscillator
- A four-channel DMA controller
- Two 9-bit UARTs , full duplex
- An ESP interface (Enhanced Serial Periphal Interface)
- An I²C master / slave controller
- A maximum of 76 digital input / output channels
