Zinneken Pis is a bronze sculpture erected in Brussels in 1998, depicting a dog urinating on a pole. It can be seen as a complement to the more well-known human fountain figures Manneken Pis from 1619 and its female counterpart Jeanneke Pis from 1985. It was also placed very close to these figures, at the intersection of Rue des Chartreux / Kartuizersstraat and Rue du Vieux-Marché aux Grains / Oude Graanmarkt. In the Brussels dialect, “Zinneke” means something like “mangy street dog”.
