Circulation game

A circulation game is a game of chess , the changing of players as correspondence chess game is played. A player is only allowed to make one move and forwards the position of the game to someone else after his move.

Circulation games were occasionally played in the 19th century. Famous players of the 19th century such as Wilhelm Steinitz , George Henry Mackenzie , Emil Schallopp and Johannes Minckwitz took part in well-known games . It is not known whether circulation games were also played in the 20th or 21st century.
