Cistercian Abbey of Koszalin
The Cistercian Abbey Koszalin (also: Koszalin ) was from 1278 to 1569, a monastery of Cistercian nuns in Koszalin in Pomerania .
history
Hermann von Gleichen , Bishop of Cammin and founder of the city of Köslin (today Poland ), also founded the Cistercian monastery there in 1278, which existed until 1569. It had numerous possessions, including in Jamund . The former monastery church, the only remaining structure, later became a castle church and has been an Orthodox church since 1953 (in Adama-Mickiewicza-Str. 22).
