Civil workers

According to National Socialist parlance, civil workers were young male and female workers, often still adolescents, from the countries occupied by German troops during the Second World War , who were recruited in their home country largely under pressure or false promises and in Germany as slave laborers without rights and mostly under inhumane conditions were used to maintain the German war economy .
