Zotty
Zotty is a product name of the Steiff toy company in Giengen an der Brenz . It is a cuddly bear that has been manufactured since 1951 and has since appeared repeatedly in the company's program in various designs and sizes. Characteristic are a thick, shaggy fur, often made of mohair plush, a large round head with an open mouth, and a color-contrasting, usually peach-colored breast fur. The rest of the fur color in most designs is reminiscent of the silver-brown fur of the grizzly . 1960 to 1961 , the bear was also produced in the basic color white and two sizes. Zottys are articulated, i.e. H. Arms, legs and head can be moved. Many bears, especially the larger ones, are equipped with a squeeze voice or a tilt voice (also known as a growler). The Zottys have been very popular since they were first launched, and well-preserved bears, especially the white ones, are sought-after collectors' items today.
