Sugar hormones
The term sugar hormones is sometimes used colloquially to summarize hormones that have an impact on carbohydrate metabolism . In particular, the glucocorticoids such as cortisone , cortisol and corticosterone are included. In some places the hormones insulin and glucagon are also counted among the sugar hormones. The term is not clearly defined and therefore not common in established medicine .
