The Green Tree (also Green Tree Brewery ) is an on Town Hall Square standing, Grade II listed building with the address Town Hall Square 13 in Kempten (Allgäu) .
Description and history
The large, essentially late Gothic building was redesigned in the classical style at the end of the 18th century . The building has a mansard roof and the ground floor barrel and groin vault and a twisted column from the year 1585. Until 1911, was located in today's restaurant, the brewery Green Tree .
brewery
The building housed the Grünbaum brewery and restaurant from 1863 to 1911. In 1911/12 this brewery joined the Allgäu brewery . There were several smaller breweries to the west of the building.
