The church

The Protestant village church of the Holy Spirit is located in the district of Schiedungen in the Hohenstein community in the Nordhausen district in Thuringia .

history

The previous church burned down on Ascension Day in 1855. A new church was rebuilt in the Romanesque style in 1858. There are two bells in its open roof . This new church is a listed building . The church was renovated inside and outside in 2005 and a winter church was installed.
