To the golden star (Querfurt)
The Gasthof Zum golden Stern is a listed inn in the city of Querfurt in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is listed as a monument under registration number 094 06004 .
The former Gasthof Zum golden Stern is located at Tränkestrasse 1 , directly on the market in Querfurt. The original building was erected in 1502, the inscription for it was plastered over during a renovation after 1938. A still-preserved inscription with a six-pointed star from the 16th century is above the entrance door and reads:

Another inscription from the 18th century was also plastered over during a renovation. At the keystone of the archway of the courtyard entrance there is a gold star with the inscription The inn is in God's hands. It is called the Güldnen Stern 17 AD: 02 from 1702. Today the building is used as the Goldener Stern restaurant and a computer center.
