Twelve feudal principalities

As the twelve feudal principalities ( Shí'èr zhūhóu十二 诸侯) of China, according to the " Chronological Table of the Twelve Lieutenants " of Shiji ( Shi'er zhuhou nianbiao诸侯 年表; The Table by Years of the Twelve Feudal Lords ) denotes the following twelve states:

• Jin晉
• Qin秦
• Chu楚
• Song宋
• Wey (= Wei) 卫
• Chen陳
• Cai蔡
• Cao曹
• Zheng鄭
• Yan燕

In Chinese historiography, the period from 871 to 477 BC is used. Chr. Understood.
