The state Wey ( Chinese    /  , Pinyin Wei or 衞國  /  卫国 , Weiguo ) was an old state within the Zhou Dynasty . The family name of the ruling family von Wey was Ji (姬). At the beginning of the Zhou dynasty, King Wu (武王) enfeoffed his younger brother Kang Shu (康叔) with it. The state was located in the northeast of today's Henan Province in the area of Puyang (濮阳), Hua County (滑县), Qi County (淇县) and Qinyang (沁阳). Wey was born in 254 BC. Wiped out by Wei (魏) and became his vassal. 209 BC It was conquered by Qin .
