Twelfth

The counting measure twelfth was a measure in the trade in boards , planks and planks and another term for dozen . The term indicated the number of 12 boards that were counted as one trading unit. The measure belonged to the old Lübeck measures and weights. It was valid at the trading centers of Stralsund , Rostock and Lübeck . In Sweden 12 pieces were called tolft.

  • 1 twelfth = 1 tult = 12 pieces
  • 10 twelfth with 12 pieces each = 120 pieces, which corresponded to the piece measure one hundred ( large hundred )

In Stralsund, 12 pegs were also counted as a twelfth.
