Zwartkops Raceway is a permanent motorsport racing circuit near the town of Centurion in South Africa .

From 1988 to 1995 there was already a race track on the site, which was expanded and modernized from 1996 to a length of around 2500 meters. In the inner field, a new go- kart track , a circular track with sliding surface, pit systems, grandstands and several auxiliary buildings as well as a motocross track were built . The new facility was completed in February 2001.

Competitions

  • The Engen Volkswagen Cup is one of the racing series that is held there with identical VW Polo vehicles. The production version of the VW Polo, however, will be converted according to the requirements of racing. In South Africa, the series is one of the most spectacular and entertaining racing classes in the country. The racing series is also broadcast live on television.
