Between Couch and Camera (original title: Going Places ) is an American sitcom that was first broadcast on ABC from 1990 to 1991 . It was developed by Howard Adler and Robert Griffard . Alan Ruck and Heather Locklear played the leading roles in the series, which spanned a season . In Germany, the series first ran on TV.München from 1993 to 1994 .

The series is about the brothers Jack and Charlie Davis who are pursuing careers as television writers in Hollywood. They are hired together with Alexandra Burton and Kate Griffin for the show Here's Looking at You and the four of them are quartered in a beach house that is rented to them by their producer Dawn St. Clare.

Production and broadcast

The series was produced by the Lorimar Television company. There was only one season with 19 episodes filmed, which ran from September 21, 1990 to March 8, 1991 on ABC. The German version ran from September 1993 to January 1994 on TV München, later also on DF1 Comedy & Co. , TV.Berlin and Premiere Comedy .
