Intergovernmental Organization

An intergovernmental organization ( English organization intergovernmental , IGO) refers to a government international organization . International non-governmental organizations (INGO), which are also referred to as international organizations in the social sciences, must be distinguished from intergovernmental organizations . In contrast to the IGOs, there is only an amalgamation of national associations, not states.
