Zygmunt Mackiewicz
Zygmunt Mackiewicz (lit. Zygmunt Mackevič ; born February 29, 1944 in Akuotninkai , Nemenčinė ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
In 1946 his father was repressed. Zygmunt learned in Šventininkai . In 1962 he graduated from Nemenčinė Middle School and in 1963 from Buivydiškės Agricultural Technical Center . He taught at Vilniaus žemės ūkio technikumas and studied veterinary medicine in Vitebsk . From 1972 to 1975 he graduated from the postgraduate in Moscow , doctorate and his habilitation in biology . From 1975 to 1980 he was a research assistant and taught at the Vilniaus universitetas . From 2002 to 2007 he was head of the chair in Opole . From 1966 to 1989 he was a deputy of the Supreme Council of Soviet Lithuania and from 1996 to 2000 a member of the Seimas .
From 1981 to 1990 he was a member of the CPSU , from 1994 of the Tėvynės sąjunga .
