The federal road 282 (abbreviation: B 282 ) leads from the Schleiz junction on the A 9 via Mühltroff , Mehltheuer and Syrau to Plauen , where it meets and ends in the village of Kauschwitz at the "Schöpsdrehe". The entire B 282 is part of the European route 49 .

history

The B 282 (still known as Reichsstrasse  282) originally began in Jena . However, the Jena-Schleiz section has now been replaced by the A 4 and A 9 motorways .

The approximately two kilometers of the main road between Heinrichsruh and the junction to Oberböhmsdorf belonged to the Schleizer Dreieck race track until 2004 .

Thuringia

The B 282 begins at the Schleiz junction of the A 9 and heads east to Heinrichsruh . There it crosses the B 2 and runs along the edge of the forest to the junction of the district road to Oberböhmsdorf . Then it turns to the southeast and leads through a forest, east of Mielesdorf . At the height of Mielesdorf the road  1089 joins from the south and the B 282 bends again to the east. Shortly afterwards the road passes the state border between Thuringia and Saxony .

Coming from the border, the B 282 leads through the district of Langenbach , crosses the Langenbacher Bach and reaches Mühltroff . In the village, the road crosses the Wisenta . Shortly after crossing the Wisentatalbahn , the state road  318 begins at the city limits , describes an arc over the Mehltheuerer district of Schönberg and a little later crosses the B 282 again. The S 316 joins the Oberpirk district . Finally, the main road reaches Mehltheuer itself and crosses two railway lines near the train station. Shortly after crossing the railway line, the S 313 joins and the B 282 continues to Syrau . It crosses the place and leads directly past the dragon cave . After the road leaves the place, it approaches its destination. It ends in a roundabout at Schöpsdrehe in the Plauen town of Kauschwitz , where the B 282 meets the B 92 .
