The China Open 2015 was a snooker tournament as part of the Snooker Main Tour , which was held from March 30th to April 5th at the Beijing University Students' Gymnasium in the Haidian District of the Chinese capital Beijing . For the tenth time in a row, the tournament took place at this location.
England's Mark Selby won the tournament by beating his compatriot Gary Wilson 10-2 in the final . Wilson had previously defeated defending champion Ding Junhui in the semifinals . Selby also played the highest break of the tournament with 145 points in the seventh frame of the final. Of the top players, only 12th in the world ranking Mark Allen missed qualifying for the tournament. World number two, Ronnie O'Sullivan , who was in the final at the World Grand Prix , did not come to the tournament for health reasons.
