In February 2014, Kollegah released Alpha, the first single from his fourth album King . AKs appeared in the closet in March , King in April and the last single Du bist Boss on May 3, 2014. At the same time, the music video for Du bist Boss appeared on the YouTube channel of Kollegah's label Selfmade Records , which has since been clicked over 23 million times (as of February 19, 2020). The music video was directed by Daniel Zlotin and it was shot in Düsseldorf and Cologne .
In You are Boss , Kollegah addresses the listener directly and challenges them to fight for themselves and always remain steadfast.
