Erik Solbakken (born November 17, 1984 in Hemsedal ) is a Norwegian television presenter.

biography

Erik Solbakken trained as a journalist at Volda University and has been working for the Norwegian state broadcaster NRK since 2005 . He gained notoriety primarily through his work in children's and youth programs. He hosted the programs Barne-TV , Liga and the Christmas program Julemorgen (2006). He also worked for NRK Radio 2 . In 2007 he became the presenter of NRK's ​​newly launched children's and youth channel NRK Super . There Solbakken presented the quiz show Superkviss together with Phung Hang and Marthe Sveberg Bjørstad and showed, among other things, a talent for imitating people and dialects.

Since 2009 Solbakken has hosted the Krem Nasjonal program , a comedy program aimed at the entire family, together with two children . Skits are performed, music videos and well-known artists such as Alexander Rybak are invited. In the same year Solbakken received the presenter award of the Nordic Children's TV Festival for the NRK super program Utfordringen , where he was able to prevail against Jacob Riising ( Danmarks Radio ) and Jeppe Vig Find ( TV 2 ) , among others . The weekly format is about sixth graders competing against each other in sports across Norway.

In 2010 Solbakken took over the moderation of an adult program for the first time and moderated the 55th Eurovision Song Contest from Oslo together with Haddy N'jie and Nadia Hasnaoui . Previously, at the end of March, he was in charge of the Amandus children's film festival . In June 2011 he moderated the Eurovision Young Dancers dance competition organized by the EBU in Oslo .

Erik Solbakken is married and lives in Oslo . In his free time he is enthusiastic about cross-country skiing , telemark skiing , football and volleyball , among other things . He has a crush on football club Sandefjord Fotball , while in fly fishing he represented Norway in national junior competitions.
