The wooden sheep ( Yiwei , Chinese  乙未 , Pinyin yǐwèi ) is the 32nd year of the Chinese calendar (see table 天 支 60-year cycle). It is also sometimes referred to as the wood goat . It is a term from the field of Chinese astrology and describes those lunar years that are linked by a connection of the second heavenly stem ( amm , , element wood and Yīn ) with the eighth earth branch ( , wèi ), symbolized by the sheep ( , yáng ), are characterized.
