壬戌

The water dog ( Renxu , Chinese  壬戌 , Pinyin rénxū ) is the 59th year of the Chinese calendar (see table 天 支 60-year cycle). It is a term from the field of Chinese astrology and describes those lunar years that are linked by a connection between the ninth celestial stem ( 壬 , rén , element water and Yáng ) and the eleventh branch of the earth ( 戌 , xū ), symbolized by the dog ( 狗 , gǒu ), are characterized.
