The Internazionali BNL d'Italia 2019 was a tennis tournament that took place in Rome from May 12th to 19th, 2019 . It was part of the ATP Tour 2019 and was played outdoors on a clay court. This season it was the fifth of nine tournaments in the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 category .

Last year's winner in the individual was Rafael Nadal , who won the tournament again this year. Juan Sebastián Cabal and Robert Farah successfully defended their title in doubles .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 56 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 24 pairs. The eight top seeded players in singles or pairings in doubles each received a bye in the first round.

qualification

The qualification took place on May 11th and 12th, 2019. From 28 participants, seven qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
