John Henricks

John "Jon" Malcom Henricks (born June 6, 1935 in Sydney ) is a former Australian swimmer .

Henricks won his first Australian championship title in 1952, winning a total of ten championship titles during his career. At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in 1954 , Hencken won the freestyle sprint and the relay. In 1956, the 1956 Olympic Games took place in Henricks' Australian homeland. In Melbourne he won the gold medal in the 100 meters freestyle and with the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay with world records.

In 1973 he was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame .
