Julian Ryerson (born November 17, 1997 in Lyngdal ) is a Norwegian football player who plays as a full-back and midfielder for 1. FC Union Berlin .

Career

Ryerson moved from Lyngdal IL to Viking Stavanger in the summer of 2013 .

He made his debut in the Eliteserien on July 24, 2015 in a 3-0 away win against IK Start . He made his breakthrough in the first team in the 2016 season when he made 18 league games. Ryerson played primarily as a right-back in these games.

In July 2018 Ryerson moved to Union Berlin, where he signed a contract that will last until July 2021. He made his debut for Union in the 2nd Bundesliga on August 26, 2018 in a 4-1 home win against FC St. Pauli . At the end of the season he was promoted to the Bundesliga with Union Berlin . Ryerson played in the decisive second game of the relegation against VfB Stuttgart for the full 90 minutes.

National team

He has been used in various youth teams in Norway (U-18, U-19 and U-21).
