The Carinthian Women's Cup was played for the first time in the 2017/18 season. The women from Magdalensberg won, who beat SV Wernberg 4-1. In the next season, 2018/19, the Wernberg women won.

So far no sponsor has been won for the women's cup competition and so the competition is called the Carinthian Women's Cup.

Game mode, participants and draw

The Carinthian Women's Cup is held in the KO system. All rounds are decided in one game, until the semi-finals the club that plays in the lowest division has home rights. If both clubs play in a league, the first-named club has home rights at the time of the draw. Home rights are drawn from the semi-finals. In the final, the winner of the first semi-final game drawn is considered the home team, the winner of the second semi-final game drawn as the away team. If there is a draw after 90 minutes, the winner will be determined immediately (without extra time) in a penalty shoot-out.
