Screen Actors Guild Awards 2013

The 19th ceremony of the US Screen Actors Guild Awards ( english 19th Screen Actors Guild Awards ), the Screen Actors Guild each year in the areas of film (6 categories) and television (9 categories) awards, took place on January 27, 2013 held at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles . In contrast to the Golden Globe Award , for example, the so-called SAG Awards only honor film, television and ensemble actors and are a yardstick for the upcoming Oscar awards. The winners were chosen by the members of the Screen Actors Guild, which one must belong to to work as an actor in the United States .

The nominees were announced on December 12, 2012 in the Silver Screen Theater of the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood by actors Busy Philipps and Taye Diggs . In the United States, the ceremony was broadcast live on cable networks TNT and TBS .

The American actor Dick Van Dyke was honored for his life's work .
