The 2015/16 Skeleton World Cup began on November 27, 2015 in Altenberg and ended on February 27, 2016 in Königssee . The World Cup comprised eight stations in Europe and North America and was held parallel to the 2015/16 Bobsleigh World Cup . The racing series was organized by the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation (IBSF). The highlight of the season was the 2016 Skeleton World Championship from February 8 to 21 in Igls . The European championship also took place at the same time as the seventh World Cup in St. Moritz .

The Intercontinental Cup , the European Cup and the North American Cup served as the foundation for the World Cup . The results of all racing series were included in the IBSF Skeleton Ranking 2015/16 .

The quota places for the individual national associations were assigned as follows on the basis of the ranking from the previous season:
