Valdidentro is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4179 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Sondrio in Lombardy .

The municipality is located about 47.5 kilometers northeast of Sondrio . The administrative headquarters are located in the Isolaccia district . Valdidentro is part of the Comunità Montana Alta Valtellina and borders the Swiss canton of Graubünden . The municipality also includes the Lago di San Giacomo Fraele and the Lago di Cancano in the Valle di Fraele . Along with numerous other rivers, the Adda flows through the municipality .
