Eduardo Vargas born November 20, 1989 in Puerto Montt, Chile is a football player for Cobreloa in Calama, Chile. Vargas plays as a forward or attacking mid-fielder for the club since the 2006 Clausura. Currently he has been called by Chile national under-20 football team manager Ivo Basay as a starting forward for the 2009 South American Youth Championship.

He started playing in amateurs teams, but he didn't Participated in other youngster team, because he lived very far of any club in the zone, he continued playing in the pre-selectión of 3rd Division Players in Puerto Montt. He was The top Scorer of his team.

The manager of the team contacted about Eduardo Vargas with Jorge Aravena (In this moment Coach of Cobreloa), and he particated in various texts of Cobreloa team.

He Participated in Cobreloa B, 3rd Division Team, Scoring with the Team, against Universidad Arturo Prar in 2005.

He Participated In Toulon Tournament, Milk Cup and the Kupa Talents Cup in 2008
