Chuck Ainlay is an American record producer and audio engineer. He has worked with Mark Knopfler on much of Knopfler's solo work, in addition to some Dire Straits material.[1][2] He has 4 Grammy Awards and 5 nominations.[3]
Along with Knopfler and Bob Ludwig, in 2006 he received the Grammy Award for Best Surround Sound Album for the surround production of the Dire Straits album Brothers in Arms.[4][5][6]
