The Shanghai daily newspaper has a site which is an html-based website of the Shanghai daily, the town's only English newspaper. The newspaper owns a site and its online department takes in charge of its operations. The site was upgraded to present the readers with Brand new www.shagahidaily.com which started on August 1, 2013 as a high lined business channel termed as BIzhub and many others. Most of their stories that they publish in the copy print, they make sure they are also available online. Advertisements, cartoons, horoscopes, puzzles and some advertorials are always not included in the site. Adding to the newspaper version of the stories, shaghaidaily.com makes sure that it publishes the online versions of the new stories that emerge based on the reports from the Chinese newspapers, wire services, radios, TVs or at the major government websites as well as the news that are on breaking news headlines  that is provided by the Shanghai daily reporters. In many cases all the newspapers edition stories are always on the site not longer than 3am Beijing time. To make sure that the timely display of the newspaper stories online is met, the night shift employees upload some of the images that are suitable to the website and the rest of the pictures get uploaded later in the following day. Like most newspaper websites around the world, shanghaidaily.com works as a fee-based website where the non-subscribers are only able to read 10 news stories a week or else they read the printed newspaper.
