The Journal of Modern Greek Studies is an academic journal founded in 1983 and the official publication of the Modern Greek Studies Association. It is the only scholarly periodical devoted to the study of modern Greece. It explores social, cultural, and political affairs in Greece from the late Byzantine period until the present day. The journal attempts to cover historical, literary, anthropological, artistic, and other aspects of contemporary Greek society and, therefore, is a highly multidisciplinary effort. The editor is Dr. Stratos E. Constantinidis of the Ohio State University.

The journal is published biannually in May and October. Circulation is 446 and the average length of an issue is 216 pages.
