Roland and Almita Vamos are a husband and wife teaching team who are the leading violin/viola instructors in the United States. Many of their pupils have become laureates of in the most prestigious international competitions. The Vamoses have been named Distinguished Teachers by the National Foundation of the Arts, and have been recognized at the White House six times.
