Viacheslav Dinerchtein (born October 30, 1976 in Minsk ) is a Swiss violist of Belarusian origin.

Life

Violist Viacheslav Dinerchtein has performed frequently in concerts and recitals in Mexico, the USA, Canada and South America and has played at the Kennedy Center (Washington), Carnegie Hall (New York) and the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Mexico City) ). He was a guest at the music festivals Internacional Bach (Peru), the Niagara Music Festival (Canada), the Spoleto Festival (Italy), the Festival Camarissima and the Otono Internacional (both Mexico City), at the Myra Hess Concert Series (Chicago) as well as at the International Viola Congresses (USA, South Africa, Germany).

Dinerchtein appeared on TV and radio shows. He is president of the Swiss branch of the International Viola Society. He is also the dedicatee of various works for viola and works as editor for Ovation Press and Amadeus Verlag . Dinerchtein produces at Solo Musica ( Sony Music ).

Dinerchtein was born in Minsk and emigrated to Mexico in 1991. He studied with his father Boris Dinerchtein, with Joseph de Pasquale at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore (Master of Music) and as a doctoral student and assistant to Roland Vamos at Northwestern University in Chicago.
