Earl Jones (born January 13 1961, in Oak Hill, West Virginia) is a retired American professional basketball player. He was a 7'0" (213 cm) 210 lb (95 kg) center and played collegiately at the University of the District of Columbia from 1980 to 1984. He played for two NBA teams.

Jones was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers with the 23rd pick in the 1st round of the 1984 NBA Draft.[1] He played for the Lakers and the Milwaukee Bucks.
