Klang Parade is one of the major shopping complexes in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia with Parkson Grand departmental store and Giant Hypermarket as its anchor tenants. Popularly known as KP, the shopping mall is strategically located in the heart of a vast residential area of Klang as well as an industrial zone of Meru.

History

Klang Parade is one of the largest one stop shopping mall in Klang with a nett lettable area of 696,080 sq ft. The mall was officially launched on 21 November, 1995.

There has been a huge development in the Klang area since 2000. New townships have established a name for itself with newer and more modern facilities and complexes for consumers to buy goods and services. Klang Parade has since felt the inevitable impact the growth and is struggling for customers admist a huge competition.

The mall has been very aggressive in organizing incentive programs and events. The weekends promotion has been running non stop with major events such as the 11th Anniversary Lucky Draw with a grand prize of a car worth RM56,000.00.

Klang Parade underwent a major building re-paint exercise in October 2006.

Tenants

The mall is comprised of 132 retail outlets of the most popular regional and local brands primarily targeting the middle income group and family shoppers. There is a wide range of shops retailing fashion, gift, souvenirs, timepieces, household goods and furnishing products.

Anchor tenants include Parkson Grand and Giant Hypermarket. Mini anchors making their debut in Klang Parade consist of Reject Shop, Digital World, SenQ Mega Electrical Store and Hot Market.

There are also karaoke outlet, bowling alley and food court located at the second floor.

Sepang Institute of Technology (SIT International College), a tertiary academic centre specifically catered for students who have just graduated from high schools, was established on the top floor of the building not long after the opening of the complex.
